Course content
Formulation of optimization problems. Classical problems without and with constraints. Non-classical optimization problems. Linear and nonlinear programming. Fundamentals of dynamic programming.

Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
To teach the student to use mathematical methods to solve optimization problems.
The student will be able to select and apply an appropriate optimization method to solve a specific problem.
Prerequisites
Mathematical analysis. Basics of programming.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Home assignment evaluation

Successful solving of tasks on the computer.
