Course content
|
Risk, hazard, hazard identification methods, scenarios. Relevant parts of mathematics: set theory, propositional calculus, probability, Bayes thorem, distributions, random processes, random simulations. Event trees, their applications. Fault trees, construction, application, analysis. Minimum cut sets. Software for FTA. Input data for analysis, collection, estimations, examination. ¨ Quantitative fault and event tree analysis, computation algorithms, direct computations, aditive theorem, disjunct products, Monte Carlo method, importance and sensitivity analysis. Risk analysis as an analysis of scenarios. Rapid risk ranking. LOPA method. Risk analysis with explicit scenario set. Risk analysis with implicit scenario set.

Understand methods of risk analysis and estimations and methods of safety management which are based on risk analysis.
