Course content
Introduction to analysis of explosives. Instrumental methods for analysis of explosives. Infrared and Raman spectroscopy. UV/VIS, nuclear magnetic resonance, mass spectrometry. Thin layer chromatography. Procedure of analysis of unknown explosive. Sample preparation for analysis. Collecting of samples and traces in explosion area. Analysis of insoluble species. Analysis post blast residues. Interpretation of analysis of explosives.
