Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to gain practical experience in the operational activities of financial institutions.
A student who has successfully completed the course can: solve standard situations in a bank, insurance company, or other financial institution and orient themselves especially in internal processes using information technology and software support for analytical work. A student who has successfully completed the course will be able to: acquire, process and subsequently interpret financial and economic data, including their quantitative and qualitative analysis. The student who has successfully completed the course is able to: apply their professional knowledge, professional skills and general competencies; summarise the views of other team members in a comprehensible manner; communicate clearly and persuasively to experts and lay people the nature of professional problems and their own views on their solution.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Student performance assessment, Presentation
In order to receive credit for the Professional Practice course, the student must work 150 hours during the Bachelor's degree in a selected company or organization with a pre-approved scope of practice, which must correspond to the specialization of Management of Financial Institutions. In addition, the student will submit a "Report on the course of professional practice" and give a presentation on the course of professional practice.
