The course seeks to enrich the knowledge and analytical skills of students in economic issues, relationships or conditions that derive from or pertain to the current and trending macroeconomic issues.
A successful completion of the course by students will: equip them with the ability to gather information pertaining to current economic issues be able to explain the crux of economic policies of the government understand the inpectus of economic factors on the individuals, businesses and the region. be able to analyze the components of the national income and gross domestic product have the ability to explain the business cycle be able to express the various factors, which cause inflation and unemployment as well as their effects appreciates the government's currect fiscal and monetary policy effect on the growth of the economy After a successful completion of the course: the student can effortlessly appreciate economic policies of the government in various trending economic issues, students are able to appreciate the measurement of unemployment and articulate reasons why some people are always unemployed, student should have the ability to analyze fiscal and monetary policies of the government, ability to spot economic issues and effectively communicate to trending economic policies of the government. A successful completion of the course by student will help develop independent appreciation of general and current economic issues, whiles developing the ability to expertly comment and contribute to economic policy analysis. Have the ability to advance argument on current economic policy issues with emphasis on the balance of policy and theoretical economic discourse.
Předpoklady
Students are required to perform seminar tasks in accordance with the existing FES study regulations. Credit assignment will be fulfilled upon completion of seminar tasks and homework. There is no exam.
