Course content
Commercial banks. Central bank. Banks Balance Sheet and Profit and Loss Account. Banks Products. Payment systems. Payments products. Credit products. Credit securiting. Alternative Forms of Financing. Trades with Securities. International banking. International monetary institutions.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the system of banking and its basic procedures and methods. The accent is put on the ability to use acquired knowledge in different spheres of the economic theory and practice.
Students will be able to use acquired knowledge not only in banking sector but also in other related specializations utilizing financial products, they will be able to apply various financial products in financing at different levels of the national economy, communicate with banking sector, formulate requirement variants, choose appropriate procedures and methods of solving the problems of financing, suitably present its solutions and defend it with necessary arguments.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation

The assignment is granted upon completion of all correspondece tasks. The examination is written and oral. In the case the student proves necessary knowledge in the written test, it is not necessary to attend the oral part of the examination.
