Course content
Utility theory and consumer's optimum. Demand. Production and costs. Theory of perfect competition. Monopolistic competition. Models of duopoly. Theory of games. Price of products and services. Modern theory of company. Markets of productions factors.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to extend at qualitatively higher level and by the use of mathematic appliance theoretical knowledge of behaviour of households and companies in the market with perfect but first of all imperfect competition.
Students will understand the philosophy of economics and apply acquired knowledge to real economic problems.

Oral examination, Written examination, Student performance assessment

The assignment is granted upon completion and submission of the seminar paper. The examination is written, eventually oral.
