Course content
Introduction to company finance. Financial decision making in the company. Time factor and risk in financial decision making. Assets and liabilities of the company. Financial analysis of the company. Short-term assets and its management. Short-term financing. Capital planning and investment decision making. Long-term financing. Economic result and its distribution. Financial planning. Evaluation of the company. Financial aspects of company integration.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with basic issues of the company financial management, create theoretical base for further study of the follow-up disciplines and at the same time provide the students with practical information.
Students will be well informed about company finance including financial management and financial decision making.
Prerequisites
A presumption for the study of this subject are the basic knowledge of the fundamentals of finance in General and specific terminology in the field of corporations and business (such as the structure of assets and liability of the company etc.), the ability to be orientated enough in the current legislation related to the issues of corporate finance etc.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

For the assignment: Active attendance at seminars. Exam will be written and oral.
