Course content
Efficiency in public sector (Un)conventional monetary policy Public choice Ethics and fight against corruption i public sector Impact of taxation on the macroeconomy of the Czech Republic Present issues of public finance in the Czech Republic Present issues of public finance in the Czech Republic and in the European Union Discussion to selected questions.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with basic knowledge of contemporary economic situation in selected areas, understand economic issues in context, sequence and interconnection between theory and practice, acquaint the students with the knowledge of recent economic data and its development and provide the students with the possibility to discuss actively economic issues and understand it well. Furthermore, the aim is to complete and extend the knowledge needed for the State Final Examination passing in the follow-up Master study.
The students will be able to know the economical problems in circumstances and their connections. They will understand the connection of economic theory and practice and be able to discuss about economical topics.

The assignment is granted upon passing the written test including questions on lectured topics.
