Course content
Economic consumer behaviour. Theory of demand. Production function and the theory of production. The perfect competition. The structures in the imperfect competition. Price making and price discrimination. Market of production factors. Model output-expenditures: equilibrium output determination. Equilibrium in the closed and opened economy - model IS-LM_BP. The basic theories of exchange rate. Model AS-AD and efficiency of fiscal and monetary policy. The labour market and unemployment. Substitution between unemployment and inflation-Phillips curves.

Learning outcomes
TThe aim of the subject is to deepen theoretical knowledge of principles and functioning present economies. For better explaining the problems, the graphical and mathematical tools are used. The course is based on present standard economic theory (macroeconomics and microeconomics).

Written examination, Student performance assessment

To complete the course the students have to pass at least 75% of attendance and pass the tests (more than 60% success rate is required). The examination is combined (written and oral). Knowledge of lectured topics is required.
