Course content
Introduction, terminology. Safety and economic crime. Definition of economic crime. Types of economic crimes. Banking economic crime. Institutional framework. Police ČR and economic crime. The state of economic crime in the Czech Republic. The investigation of economic crime. Crime Prevention. Activities against corruption. Insolvency and bankruptcy law. Decline and ways of its solution. Leaks of the estate. Crimes in insolvency. The use of white horses and "laundering" money

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint students with the basics of economic criminality and the knowledge of the Czech criminal law with this matter, i.e. the Penal Code and the Criminal Procedure Code, the foundations of the criminalistics and criminalistic methods in conjunction with economic crimes. Furthermore, knowledge of the Insolvency Act and to perform in connection with failures different economic subjects and ways of its solution.

Credit will be awarded based on attendance at seminars and seminar lectures of specialists from practice and on the basis of a written seminar work, which will be presented in Powe Point. Seminar work will be presented and submitted within the deadlines set in the exercises. Seminars will begin at 3 introductory lectures. The exam is written with possible oral.
