Course content
|
State administration in the Czech countries from the 1840s till 1918, including all the necessary Central-European connections. The Habsburg central administration from the 1840s to 1918. The principle of administration in the Czech countries in the period between 1850 - 1938, including all the necessary territory connections.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of this course is to provide more detailed information about administrative systems in Central Europe during the relevant period of time.
The student will be assisted to understand state administrative relations at the end of the Habsburg monarchy, the concrete work of administration during the whole period, and the principles at the time of their validity. This specification is based on the students' expected specialization.

Written examination, Home assignment evaluation
Active participation in seminars and working-out an assigned seminar task (the topic will be specified during the first session) are preconditions for admission to the written test (the minimum passing grade is 75%). Reading technical titles connected to the topics of this course is recommended and will be the content of a discussion during the DESP4 examination.
