This seminar wants to provide the students with the artistic context for the period going from the late 18th century to the First World War and explain the impact of political, social and economic processes in Europe as well as in other parts of the World on the evolution of the fine arts and, simultaneously, how the artists interpreted these processes in their artworks.
Schopnost pochopit vztah mezi dějinami společnosti a dějinami umění v novověku; schopnost interpretace historických událostí a procesů skrze umělecká díla.
