Course content
1. System of the public administration of the Czech Republic 2. Act on State monument care ? basic provisions 3. Organizational structure of State Monument Care 4. Proclaiming objects as cultural monuments and territories as monument reservations and zones 5. Protection and use of cultural monuments ? basic approaches 6. Protection and use of cultural monuments ? application of the exploration and the particularity of the restoration 7. Protection and use of cultural monuments ? the relation with others authority and the sanctions 8. The practical examples ? excursion 9. The place of the archaeology in the Administrative Procedure of Monument Preservation 10. Financing of the conservation and the renewal of a cultural monument

Learning outcomes

Improvement of the sudents´ knowledge of the administrative procedure of monument preservation. The place of the monument care in the democratic society. The basics of the process of bodies of state monument care.

To elaborate and to present two essay according to instructions; the interview testing the knowledge of the lectures topics and the problems.
