Sets, number sets, intervals. Fractions and working with them. Expressions, their modification and simplification. Powers and square roots. Equations and inequalities, systems of equations. Functions and their basic properties, graph of functions. Infinity and working with it. Arithmetic and geometric sequences.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce students to the basic mathematical techniques of (mostly) high school mathematics in an interactive way and thus increase students' readiness to take other mathematics courses. Therefore, the course is primarily intended for those students who have not sufficiently developed mathematics in high school or who have had fewer hours of mathematics classes.
