Course content
Number series, basic properties, convergence criteria. Absolute convergence. Power series, region of convergence, sum. Taylor series. Selected topics in vector algebra and analytic geometry. Functions of two real variables, basic concepts. Partial derivatives of functions of two real variables, basic properties, higher order derivatives. Total differential. Derivation of a composite function. Implicitly given function. Extremes of functions of two real variables. Selected applications. Ordinary differential equations. Existence and uniqueness of a solution. Separable, homogeneous and linear equations. Application of the course material to the solution of some typical problems in economic practice.

Knowledge of mathematics within the scope of the basic course is expected.
