The aim of the course is to increase the level of knowledge and skills of students in key areas of high school mathematics and linear algebra, which are necessary for the study of economics and other subjects.
A student who has successfully completed the course can: Characterize sequences and elementary functions of one real variable including their properties; distinguish between basic types of equations and inequalities and choose appropriate methods of solution; describe geometric objects using Cartesian coordinates. A student who has successfully completed the course will be able to: Recognize, represent, and work with graphs of the simplest elementary functions; solve equations and inequalities; use elementary methods for solving systems of equations; use the coordinate method to solve geometric problems. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: Know the basic concepts of high school mathematics.
