Learning outcomes
The course provides an explanation of basic concepts of insurance and an overview of the functioning of insurance market in the Czech Republic, other countries of Europe and the world. Students are introduced to the principles of operation of these markets, the importance of methods of probability theory for calculation in the life and non-life insurance and risk management of insurance business
