Course content
Retrosynthetic analysis, disconnection, Functional group interconversion. Synthesis of alkanes, alkenes, alkynes, arenes, alkyl and aryl halides,, alcohols and ethers, aldehydes, ketones, quinones, carboxylic acids and their derivatives, organic compounds of nitrogen and sulfur, derivatives of carbonic acid, heterocyclic compounds.

Learning outcomes
The aim of this subject is to apprise students with laboratory and industrial methods of the synthesis of organic compounds. After passing od this course student will be ablle to plan synthesis of organic compounds.
After passing of this course student will be able to plan synthesis of organic compounds.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledges of organic chemistry.
