Introduction, principles of catalytic processes Kinetics of catalysed heterogeneous reactions Preparation of heterogeneous catalysts Evaluation of physical and chemical properties of heterogeneous catalysts Evaluation of catalytic properties of catalysts Transport phenomena in catalytic systems, inner and outer diffusion, heat transfer Deactivation and regeneration of catalysts Catalytic reactors with fixed catalytic bed Catalytic reactors with dispersed catalyst Dynamic phenomena in catalytic systems Possibilities of intensification of catalytic processes Catalytic processes in syntheses of chemical specialties Catalytic processes in protection of environment Examples of applications of catalytic processes in organic chemistry

Learning outcomes
The student will recognize the basics of catalytic processes, preparation of heterogeneous catalysts, and evaluation of physical, chemical and catalytic properties of heterogeneous catalysts, deactivation and regeneration of catalysts, catalytic reactors, and examples of applications of catalytic processes in organic chemistry.
Student will know about basics principles of catalytic processes and their applications.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of technology of organic substances.
