Course content
|
Introduction, philosophy of change, business thinking and behaviour, phases of innovation process. Key terms, efficient sponsorship and tasks in the process of change. Models of changes, phases of the process of change, Lewin's model, M and N managers. Strategy, organization structure, company culture, its analysis, control and change. Management of company strategy, basic types of strategies, its changes and reasons. Eight-point process of change, projects of management of change. Character of changes, elimination of useless coherences. Decision making in the company, changes, classification. Innovation process, its phases, characteristic, innovation practice in the company. Complex conception of innovation changes, project of management of changes, management methods of innovation processes. Implementation of Managing Organizational Change (MOC). Case studies of changes.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with theoretical knowledge of management of change through available literature of foreign as well as our national authors. The accent is put on implementation of changes in the organization. The course results from the philosophy of change and organizations' adaptability to changes provoked by changes of internal and external environment in the organization. In the application part of the course the accent is put on process approach to management of change and students are introduced to methodology of management of change in the particular phases of the process of change.
A student will master the theoretical knowledge in management of change through the available literature written by our and foreign authors. The accent is placed on the implementation of changes in the organization.

The assignment is granted upon attendance at seminars and completion of the seminar paper. The examination is written, oral (conditioned by assignment granting).
