Course content |
Defining quality in the marketplace. International and national quality standards. ISO 9000/2000 and ČSN EN ISO 9000/2001. QFD method - measuring customer satisfaction. FMEA method - product supposals FTA method - fault states tree. Benchmarking- measuring the performance of the competition. EFQM excellence model. Machinery and equipment duality. Analysis of quality measurement system.

Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to provide knowledge of quality systems, types of international and Czech standards and quality evaluation methods. Quality problems in pre-and production stages, supply and post-production activities are included.
Students will be able to use various types of quality standards applied in the whole production process. |

The course assumes knowledge of management at the undergraduate level.
