Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the protection of society especially in relation to social problems first of all in further reference to human rights which include human security, and furthermore, in further reference to ecosystem protection, critical infrastructure and population protection. The interpretation results from security policy. The attention is paid to concrete solution in the Czech Republic. Especially legislative relations, crisis laws and system of interconnections between state administration, self-administration and special bodies such as Fire Rescue Service, Police and Army of the Czech Republic are presented within the course. Integrated emergency system is discussed in detail as a system of interconnections securing population protection, furthermore, the course deals with its organs, functions of public administration, rights and duties of regions and municipalities. The course also includes crisis planning and material crisis safeguarding. In order to create complex picture the course deals shortly with emergency medicine and rescue technical facilities.
A student will master the basic knowledge in risk management, emergencies and crises. The student will be ready for the work of specialists in the IRS and crisis management system. He will control laws and the issue of crisis management of emergencies and crisis management of public administration.
