Course content
Spatial analyses: definition, history, aims. Types of used methods. Spatial statistics. Utilization of each particular type of spatial data.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Dialogic (discussion, interview, brainstorming), Skills training
Learning outcomes
Running of complex spatial regional analyses by means of analytical and synthetical functions of geographic information systems.
The students will be able to independently complete complex space analyses.
Prerequisites
Basic knowledge of GIS and databases.

Assessment methods and criteria
Written examination, Home assignment evaluation, Student performance assessment

Graded assignment is granted upon successful defence of an independent practical project during which the student shows his/her ability to apply theoretical knowledge to practical cases. More detailed requirements are published as a study material in STAG.
