Course content
Principles and use of Business Intelligence. Database systems, data warehouse. Principles and methods of modeling. Applications of process and data modeling. Managerial presentation on the data model. Data-driven decision making. Competitive Intelligence. New trends.

Monologic (reading, lecture, briefing), Work with text (with textbook, with book), Methods of individual activities
Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is focused on the development of skills, knowledge, procedures and tools used in business to gain a better understanding of the business context using methods of collecting, analyzing, interpreting and presenting information, decision-making methods and competitive intelligence.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Work-related product analysis, Creative work analysis

Credit: minimal participation in seminars and completion of continuous tasks in seminars; passing a credit test in the final exercise. Exam: written and then oral form.
