Course content
|
Approaches to organization management, process classification, process organization maturity. Statistical and graphical tools, advantages and risks of their use in process management. Statistical process control, application of statistical apparatus for process stability. Methods and tools for economic organizations, Kaizen, QFD. Lean, Six Sigma, Lean Six Sigma methods, interweaving and complementing methods, customer voice modeling. Methodologies, models and process modeling standards. Quality models for public administration, CAF framework. Business informatics process management frameworks, COBIT, ITIL.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to interconnect knowledge of management methods and continuous improvement of business processes in the organization, and extend the topic by complex methods, statistical tools, graphical modeling tools and model examples.
A student who has successfully completed the course can: apply procedures for classifying processes in an organization and aspects of their management; identify the initial requirements necessary to manage the business process and decide on the choice of the appropriate approach; explain and correctly apply the principles of methods and techniques used for process control; to characterize the principles and characteristics of the quality frameworks used for both public administration and the economic sector; create process models and apply them appropriately within quality methods and frameworks; is able to link theoretical knowledge with their specific application, because methods outside the theoretical definition are also documented on concrete examples from practice.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Didactic test, Discussion
The assignment: elaboration of partial tests, elaboration of assigned tasks, attendance at seminars in accordance with FEA directive. The examination: consists of a written and an oral part; the degree of knowledge and ability to apply acquired knowledge to solving practical problems is tested, the condition is to obtain credit.
