Course content
|
Work with basic graphic and web formats. Introduction to color theory, color systems and color schemes. Introduction to color psychology, theoretical concepts of color psychology and their perception. Design and creation of company logo and other graphic company materials. Theoretical basis for the analysis of the logo as a brand. Design and creation of advertising banners. Graphics in internet marketing. Infographics. Design and creation of educational animations.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is: to give students theoretical background in the field of graphics and animation, an introduction to the environment of graphic editors and to the creation of corporate and web graphics, including the design and creation of educational and presentation animations.
A student who has successfully completed the course can: explain differences between basic graphic formats and color systems; use color schemes appropriately; design a logo including other graphic company materials; visualize data, information, knowledge using infographics; process web graphics and simple advertising banners; create simple animations. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: effectively use appropriate tools to create different types of business graphics; create simple animations for both offline and web presentations; apply their knowledge, skills and competencies in graphics processing in practice; communicate with professionals and lay people about the nature of professional problems and their own opinion on their solution.
