Course content

The definition of "Competitive Intelligence" (CI). Extracting secondary sources of information. Extracting primary sources of information. Information analysis and synthesis. Communication and presentation of information. Introduction of CI to the organisational environment. Use of CI in competition.

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the issues of competitive intelligence methods and technology. The focus is on basic terms of CI, the role, aim and place of CI in an organisation.
Students will be familiar with the technologies used in the area of CI, they will be able to participate in their use in the process of individual analyses in any specific area.

Oral examination, Work-related product analysis, Creative work analysis
Assignment: elaboration of given tasks. Examination: written and oral. Detailed information will be provided during the first lecture.
