Course content
Introduction to private detective services. Legal principles of private detective work. Forms of private detective work. Methods of private detective work. Means used in private detective work. The area of personnel and support forces in private detective work. Co-operation of private detectives and solicitors. Detective defence of economic interests. Uncovering latent economic criminality. Prevention within private detective work. Personal detective defence. Collecting information of evidence for administrative procedure and court cases of business intelligence.

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with basic issues of private detective services, to provide them with the basics of private detective work, the means used in private detective work.
The students will acquire basic awareness of this matter. They will be able to co-operate with specialists in detective work, in the area of economic interest protection and collecting information, as well as in the area of evidence for administrative procedures and court cases.

Assignment: presentation of a seminar project and successful elaboration of given tasks. Detailed information will be provided during the first lecture.
