What is a project. Project management process. Project objectives definition. Project proposal preparation process. Project planning. Project tasks structure. Time-planning tools. Time estimation. Working with the sources. Management of project workers. Monitoring of the project work process. Project management software (PC, mobile -iOS, Android)

Learning outcomes
|
The aim of the course is to introduce the basic issues of project management using standard software tools.
The students will be aware of the contents of individual phases of project management, the main structure and key concepts in the project management area. They will be able to define the basic structure of tasks within the project and to use suitable software for project management.

Prerequisites
|
Basic skills in MS Office utilization.

Assessment methods and criteria
|
Oral examination, Written examination, Student performance assessment, Systematic monitoring
Assignment is conditional to attendance at seminars (as set in the regulations), completion of an exercise set at the seminar with a success rate of at least 60 %, and submission and presentation of the semester project as set. The exam will be oral and written. The final grade is made up of 40 % seminar and exercise, 60 % seminar work presentation and defence, as well as sufficient answers to examiner´s questions, written test.
