Course content
Communication - definition and other social aspects of this process. Social norms, conformity and influencing as starting points for communication. Nonverbal communication as a key skill. Communication process in practice. Conducting an interview. Group communication. Communication with an emphasis on people management. Management of business meetings. Communication of institutions with the public, assumptions and principles. Practice of communication and social perception in practice (2 blocks).

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to acquire the skills of communicating, discussing and understanding the communication process in a broader context.
A student who has successfully completed the course can: describe the process of communication with respect to its structure in the situation where it is used; define the fundamental errors that occur in communication and at the same time recognise the procedures to prevent them to some extent; describe the process of conducting a conversation, including with regard to the non-verbal part of communication. A student who has successfully completed the course will be able to: Recognize different forms of communication and choose appropriate methods of communication with respect to the situation in which they are in; follow the appropriate procedure for the entire communication process, especially conducting a conversation, managing a work meeting, etc.; in the event of a communication problem, find appropriate solutions to the problem and minimise communication noise; apply theoretical knowledge to the design of practical communication solutions. A student who has successfully completed the course is able to: Communicate clearly and persuasively to an opposing party information about the nature of problems and their own views on their nature; apply the basic rules of appropriate social interaction.

Assignment will be awarded based on completion of assignments and activity in class. Students will complete oral assignments and present them in exercises.
