Course content |
Basic communication processes, social interaction in special groups. Nonverbal communication, concept of metacommunication. Interpersonal communication, characteristics, cultural influence and differences. Personal prerequisites necessary for successful communication, influence of temperament, nature, social experience on the communication level. Causal attributes - types, structure, most frequent mistakes, styles - influence on communication interaction. Social facilitation, conformity, influencing. Communication within a group, types of communication networks and its effectiveness in a communication group. Management of people and forms of communication - task-oriented communication, working with people. Management styles and forms of communication - task-oriented communication, working with people. Conversation - aim, plan, structure. Management of meetings and conferences. Communication among institutions and public, prerequisites and principles. Public Relations - definition, forms of strategies. Feedback in communication - individual, group and institutional.

Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to acquaint the students with the ability to convey, communicate and persuade, it assumes the acquirement of the knowledge of interpersonal and speech communication, acquirement of the social rules of interaction and communicative process in its essential parts.
