Course content
|
Social norms and conformity of an individual in group interaction, social control. The theory of social deviance. Psychological, social and economic contexts of behavior and experience of members of minorities - stigma, similarity, etc. Aggression and social prevention. Selected issues of social deviance: homelessness, addiction, family violence, suicide cult act, crime and delinquent behavior.

Learning outcomes
|
The goal is to acquire knowledge of theories of deviance and access to different social groups and minorities, which go beyond the standards and are often the source of various social problems.
Student will be able to orientate in basic concepts of social deviation. He/she gets general information how to behave if he/she meets some form of deviant behavior in live or in work.

Assignment will be awarded based on work and interview about the topics of the subject.
