Main lectured topics: Basic concepts used in social policy, with a focus on poverty and social exclusion The definition and characteristics of social policy Historical context of social policy. Features and tools of social policy (objects and subjects). Transformation processes of social policy in the Czech Republic Social Administration

Learning outcomes |
The aim of the course is to acquire knowledge of the theories of social policy, its history and nature and its relationship to other segments of public policy (e. g. economic policy).
The student will understand the principles of social policy. Gets general information for understanding the workings of national social policies, which solves problems by itself, and what is contrary to the balance of its existence. |
