Public law - basic characteristics Constitutional system of the Czech Republic Fundamental Human rights and freedoms Legal aspects of public administration Criminal liability - main features Criminal offences - selected types Public property

Learning outcomes
The aim of the course is to familiarize students with the meaning, principles and division of public law and provide them with the basics of each branch of public law with an emphasis on constitutional law.
Students will acquire basic knowledge of general legal theory, constitution, criminal law and law of public property. This knowledge enables the students further study of legal branches within their study specialization.

Assessment methods and criteria
Oral examination, Didactic test, Discussion

Assignment is conditioned by active attendance at seminars according to solving of exercises and discussion on issues raised at lectures. Exam is written.
