Current system of Czech public administration(government and local government) Approaches to management in public administration. Public administration reforms in the Czech Republic. Control and evaluation of public administration. Basic features of public administration in selected countries of the European Union.

The aim of the course is to apprise students with the functioning of public administration, to define its subjects, organization, historical context and current approaches in the context of reforms of public administration.
Students will get basic knowledge in the field of public administration.

Assessment methods and criteria

Written examination, Work-related product analysis, Systematic monitoring
Written examination, oral examination, evaluation of projects, evaluation of performance. Assignment is according to the seminar work and written test.
