Course objectives:
|
The goal of the subject is to acquire and expand the knowledge and skills obtained during the previous learning of the English language with an emphasis on technical terminology and grammar structures relevant to the field of study. In the progress of the course, attention is paid to the application of the adopted language instruments and speech skills to the technical language, taking into consideration the needs of the future practice (speaking and writing skills, listening and reading comprehension when working with technical texts)by means of tutored eLearning course in LMS Moodle and through e-portfolio creation in Mahara.

The credit will be given on the basis of prepared and presented semestral paper on an assigned theme and on the basis of the end-term test.

The student understands the main ideas of clearly state input information concerning common topics, can write a simple piece of coherent text and can give brief reasons for his or her opinions. The target level of the course is B1+. |
