Course objectives:
|
The main course objective is to enhance the previously acquired language skills with special attention paid to the development of the language used in the specific area of Business English. The initial level of communicative competence: B2 in General English. The final level of communicative competence: B2+ in Business English. The course focuses on developing vocabulary and productive skills relevant to students´ future professional careers.

Requirements on student
|
Submitting seminar papers a week prior to the end of the term.
Students may select:
videoconference session with a partner university (UCLan Preston, UK; AUA AThens )and submit 2 seminar assignments per the term, active participation in an intercultural seminar or
to prepare field-specialised e-learning materials for exams in a form of 2 seminar assignments per the term.
Presentation (Presenting a Company/Product or Service/Strategy).
Exam: Test in writing: pass mark 60%; oral part. Format of final testing will cover all relevant language instruments and language skills gained in EPA2L and will draw on standardised testing materials.
