Course objectives:
|
The course is designed to foster language skills at the level of A1+. Emphasis is put on speaking, listening and reading comprehension and grammar. The target level of the course is A2 assuming the combination of an active participation in the course and autonomous preparation within the e-course UPNUC.

Requirements on student
|
Active 70% attendance at contact lessons; submitting assigned seminar papers of the e-learning course with 60% pass mark.

|
Languages. Subordinate clauses with - weil, comparatives and superlatives of adjectives and adverbs.
Family. Possessive pronouns, Subordinate clauses with dass.
Travelling. Modal verbs.
Leisures. Relfexive pronouns, Verb structures.
Eating out. Relative clauses.
Summative written test comprising the standardized test items relevant to the content of the course.

Competences acquired |
Students are able to make themselves understood both in writing and spoken language in everyday situations. They are able to describe their needs and their surroundings and can write simple texts about things they are familiar with and to give reasons for their opinions. The target level of the course is A2.
