Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to teach students how to work with ethical and responsible management tools and critically think about the environment in which companies realize their activities and which they also create at the same time.

Competences acquired |
A student who has successfully completed a subject can:
clarify the importance of responsible management for the enterprise from a long-term point of view;
define the values and principles of ethical and responsible management;
explain the process of code of ethics creation and implementation as well as other tools (missions and visions, ethical audit, reporting);
characterize the Corporate Social Responsibility concept, including its benefits for managerial practice.
A student who successfully complete the subject will:
implement ethics and responsibility into the corporate strategy proposal;
apply ethical theories to the problems that arise when managers are deciding on the future operation of an enterprise;
design tools that help enterprise to promote ethical and responsible thinking and management;
assess the level of ethical and responsible behaviour of the enterprise.
A student who successfully completed the subject is able to:
include consideration of ethical dimension to problems solving;
communicate understandably and convincingly the information about the nature of professional problems and their own opinion on their solution to experts and laymen.
