Typy nelineární úlohy, princip, strategie řešení nelineárních úloh. Geometrická nelinearita, nelineární matice tuhosti, velké posuvy, mezní zatížení, vyhodnocení výsledků. Problémy stability tenkostěnných konstrukcí, ideální konstrukce, reálná konstrukce, vliv počátečních imperfekcí. Porovnání s lineárním řešením. Materiálová nelinearita, modely nelineárního chování materiálu, nelineární matice tuhosti, mezní zatížení, plastické klouby, mechanismus, vyhodnocení výsledků. Zráta stability v pružně- plastickém oboru, vliv geometrické a materiálové nelinearity na stabilitu, možné způsoby vyhodnocení výsledků numerické analýzy. Kontaktní problémy, princip (Lagrangeovy multiplikátory, pokutové funkce, GAP elementy), způsob řešení. Dynamická analýza výpočtového modelu odezvy přímou integrací diferenciálních rovnic ( poměrný útlum, proporciální útlum, explicitní a implicitní metody integrace), porovnání s lineární analýzou rozvoje odezvy do vlastních tvarů (podmínky použití, výhody, nevýhody). Posouzení výpočtových modelů na únavu
