Course objectives:

The aim of the course is to give the students an idea of the design and creation of static web pages using the knowledge of HTML and CSS.

Competences acquired |
Students who successfully complete the course will be able to:
create simple websites that are accessible and optimized,
create and use CSS effectively,
schedule pages using CSS to be viewable across devices,
create a site design and choose the appropriate color scheme for visually impaired users,
control the basic environment of the website creation tool used,
publish web pages on the Internet.
Students who successfully complete the course are able to:
independently decide on the solution based on the assignment and justify the procedure,
communicate comprehensibly information on the nature of technical problems arising in the design and development of the website and their own opinion on their solution (it concerns consultations during the design and creation of the website),
summarize and clearly present the result of the assignment (presentation of the created website),
independently acquire further professional knowledge, skills and competences in the field of website creation. |
