Requirements on student
|
A reading list of at least 60 titles. The selection is up to the student but it must include both British and American literature of various time periods and all three main literary forms (poetry, drama, and prose). Titles of popular literature and children´s literature should also be included as their study is an integral part of the Study Program. The student should also list theoretical works they read and optional literary and cultural courses they passed.

Content
|
Students are expected to understand the history of British and American literature in the scope of the program´s courses, and literary theory. They prove their ability to aply the theory to a particular literary text as well as to place the text within historical and literary context. Students will draw one of the questions (the questions overlap) and will answer it using items from their reading list.
