Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to allow students to acquire basic knowledge and skills in the field of management and economic activities necessary for providing health care.
|
Requirements on student
|
Completion of mandatory participation in lectures and seminars. Fulfillment of the assigned written work. Completion of a written test or oral examination according to the decision of the subject guarantor.

|
Introduction to the course, strategy and management in healthcare. Management tools. Basic economic terms for management. Financial aspect of healthcare. Management and leadership. Personnel management Process management and process analysis. Change and change management. Structural and procedural aspects of the health care system and their impact on health care assessment. Quality and risk management in a healthcare facility. Marketing of a healthcare facility. Internal communication in an organization. Crisis management in healthcare.
Strategic analyses, the system environment of health care in the Czech Republic Managerial communication and teamwork. Project design and implementation of a marketing project at a specific workplace.
