Course objectives:

The aim of the subject is to provide in-depth information about the education process and practical training of skills for effective education in perioperative care including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation.

Requirements on student
|
Completion of compulsory 50% attendance at the lectures.
Complection of compulsory active 80% attendance in exercises.
Completing assigned written work.
Successful completion of a didactic / written test.

Competences acquired |
Students will be able to implement knowledge acquired in lectures and seminars in their care of patients. Students will be capable of obtaining patient's medical history for the purpose of patient's education. Students will manage to develop and implement education and educational programme for healthy, sick, or disabled persons in all developmental stages. Students will be able to develop education and educational programmes for midwives in perioperative care. Students are able to successfully evaluate an educational process and also to see it from a systemic point of view. |
