Course objectives:
|
Reflective Didactic Seminar is closely linked with the teaching practice. The aim of the course is to enhance the development of (self)reflective strategies and techniques by analysing and reflecting the experience on the basis of the knowledge base for teaching. The aim of these processes is to facilitate explicit building and forming students´ individual ´philosophies´ of instruction.

Requirements on student

1. Participation in seminars (1 missed class tolerated)
2. An interview based on the materials that the students are required to submit:
- an essay "I as a future English teacher" - deadline for submission (by email): October 31
- self-assessment of their teaching practice performance using The Competence Profile of the English Teacher - students submit a filled-in form by November 30 (by email)

Analysis and evaluation (level and areas of professional learning, interventions into processes of professional learning, reflective strategies and techniques).
