Course objectives:
The first part of the course is focused on the introduction to the theory of electromagnetic wave propagation in real environments, such as the troposphere and ionosphere. The next part of the course is focused on the definition of basic parameters of antennas and their measurement in free space and in the anechoic chamber. The main part of the course is devoted to a theoretical description of important types of antennas, their design and calculations of parameters of these antennas.
Requirements on student
The student must demonstrate an understanding of the solved problems during the semester and during the final exam. The specific requirements will be communicated to the students by the teacher in the first week of the semester.

Fields of study
V případě mimořádných opatření bude výuka probíhat vzdáleně s využitím programu MS Teams v době dle rozvrhu. Účast na schůzkách skupiny v MS Teams je ekvivalentní účasti na přednáškách a cvičeních.
In the case of distance learning, lessons will be tought trough MS Teams. Lessons will be at the time shown in the timetable. MS Teams is equivalent to participation and or attendens in lectures and excersises.
