Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to master dealing with numerical series, essentials of differential and integral calculus of a function with more than one real variable and solving some selected types of the differential equations.
|
Requirements on student
|
Giving a credit confirms that a student has attended the lessons to the extent required and fulfilled all the qualified requirements. Conditions for obtaining a credit will be provided by the lecturer.

Content
|
Infinite series (numerical and function series, criteria of convergence). Functions of two and more real variables (domain of definition, graph, limits, coherence). Differential calculus of a function of more real variables (partial derivation, tangent plane to a graph of that function, tangent plane linearisation, Taylor's theorem, local and constrained extremes of a function). Differential equations (separation of variables, variation of a constant, exact differential equation, simple differential equation of higher-order). Integral calculus of a function of more than one real variable (improper and proper integral, integration methods, substitution in both types of integral, applications of double and triple integral).
