Course objectives:
|
The aim of the course is to get students acquainted with new media and methods and trends of communication using actual information and communication technologies (ICT).
|
Requirements on student
|
Knowledge of information and communication technologies. Active attendance, creating of own project on given topic.

Content
|
Introduction to new media and communication:
- definition, history and importance of actual new media and mass media, role of the ICT support,
- character and changes of new media and mass media and impact on society and markets, medial studies,
- Internet as phenomena, trend of mobility and augmented reality,
- mobile Internet over mobile data technologies (2G, 3G, 4G) and wireless data technologies (Bluetooth, WiFi, WiMax, etc.),
- new media and new mobile devices (smartphone, tablet, etc.) with location and identification technologies (GPS/Galileo/GLONASS and NFC/RFID/QR-codes, etc.),
- mobile and geographic information systems (GIS) and Location based services (geosocial networks like Foursquare/Google+/Facebook places, etc.), the use of new media,
- relevance and riscs of information shared in media.

V případě mimořádných opatření bude výuka probíhat vzdáleně s využitím programu MS Teams v době dle rozvrhu. Účast na schůzkách skupiny v MS Teams je ekvivalentní účasti na přednáškách a cvičeních.
