Course objectives:
|
Course is suitable for students with background in Printing Technologies, Graphic Arts and related technological areas. The aim of this course is a preparation of theoretical part of diploma thesis that has to be handed to supervisor in first half of January. At the end of the term students have a seminar presentation of theoretical parts of their diploma theses. The lectures provide information how to write diploma thesis, guidelines for referencing, design of experiment, presentation of research results, etc.

Elaboration of diploma thesis. Planning of experiment. Processing, evaluation and presentation of experimental results. Literature references. Elaboration of the outline and theoretical part of diploma thesis and their short presentation.

Competences acquired |
On completion of this course, the student will have prepared the theoretical part of diploma thesis and understand further steps in its elaboration with focus on planning the experiment, measuring and evaluation of data, and finally discussion of the results and making conclusions. |
